Creative Types Needed!
Be a part of one of UD's most exciting learning - living environments! Providing housing for 58 juniors and seniors of all majors, ArtStreet combines innovative living spaces with multi-purpose studio facilities. ArtStreet is a part of a university initiative to integrate academic and experiential learning with residential and community living.
There are 5 4-person lofts, 5 6-person townhouses and 1 8-person townhouse at ArtStreet. The townhouses include a common area, three bedrooms for 6 people, front and back porches, washer, dryer, dishwasher, and air conditioning. The lofts include a common area, two bedrooms for 4 people, a front porch on Kiefaber St, washer, dryer, dishwasher, and air conditioning.
All ArtStreet residents are required to enroll in UDI 371:ArtStreet Experience each semester. This 1-credit pass/fail course exposes residents to a variety of arts-related projects, field trips, workshops and performances.
Residents are selected by a committee through an application process; applications are generally due at the end of each fall semester. For more information, please visit the UD Residential Services website at http://housing.udayton.edu.

Any size group can apply--one-person, two-, three-, four-, five-, or six!

Do you want to live at ArtStreet but don’t have a large enough group of roommates to fill a house? ArtStreet housing is now available to accommodate individual or small groups of students (from 2-6 people) who want to be a part of UD’s arts-based learning/living community. Individuals or small groups will be placed together to fill a six-person townhouse.
The deadline for applications is Monday, February 11th. To apply, please visit the UD Housing website http://housing.udayton.edu/current/artstreet/applications.html and complete the following:
- Online Residential Living Contract
- ArtStreet Application form - - Answer questions 1-6 and return one copy to ArtStreet Office. Include the name or names of the other applicants in your small group if applicable.
** Please note that all accepted applicants will be expected to meet the requirements of being an ArtStreet resident (see http://housing.udayton.edu/current/artstreet/applications.html ).
Applicants will be notified of acceptance status by February 14th.
